Director/Licencee

I am Cheryl and I am the Director, I have been running Bush Babies for the last 25 years.

I have had children come through who I taught years ago, who now bring me their children to care for at Bush Babies.

The families and community really make me happy to still be caring for children at Bush Babies. You can find me mainly in the Office these days, however I do enjoy getting out to chat with Parents and play with the Children.

Hi I am Robyn.

I currently hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care and I am completing my Early Childhood Teaching Degree. I have been at Bush Babies now for 15 years.

I am returning to work 4 days per week after having my baby girl, Penelope. I also have a son named Ronnie. I will be helping out in the rooms from time to time, however, I will mainly be in the office.

I enjoy watching the children grow & learn but especially love the cuddles that the children give me every day.

My weekends consist of spending time with my Family, gardening (I love hot chilli) and playing ball on Sunday afternoons. I also enjoy fishing, hiking and anything adventurous.

Thank you for bringing your children to Bush Babies for us to care for… We love to teach them, watching them learn and grow.

Esther Masters

Esther Masters

Early Childhood Teacher/ Educational Leader

Hi, I’m  Esther Masters, and I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have nine siblings, yes nine ? and being number 5 has given me the opportunity to develop certain skills and has inspired me to fulfil my dream to become a teacher.

I was a licensed primary school teacher back in the Philippines, and I taught 6-12 age groups. I came to Australia in 2010 and completed Cert 3 and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care through TAFE. I also finished Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis from Western Sydney University in 2014. In 2016 I completed my Bachelor of Education Birth to Five Years through Charles Sturt University.

I have worked at Bush Babies since 2010, and it is safe to say that Bush Babies truly feels like my second home. I find this job very rewarding considering how much cuddles, and I love yous I get throughout the day from the children. Research shows that the first eight years of a child’s life are a critical period for development and I am honoured to be a part of a team that provides developmentally stimulating, meaningful learning experiences and a nurturing environment for your children.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, bush walking with my husband, Trev and of course being a Filipino; I love “karaoke” too even though I am not very good at it ?.

Hi, I am Georgia

I am a mother to a beautiful boy named Teddy, and I love exploring this new chapter of my life. I love to explore and take on new adventures. That’s why I love childcare so much. Childcare has been my home for the last five years, enjoying every minute of watching children grow and develop. Each day is a new adventure!

My Achievements

  • I have a passion for high-quality education and care.
  • I hold a Certificate III in early childhood education & care and a first aid certificate.
  • I take on learning and professional development.
  • I want to ensure that our children are learning, cared for, safe, and respected during every moment with us.

I make every effort to model behaviours every day, which are:

  • Positive, loving, and trusting, being an ‘energy giver’ and celebrating successes often.
  • Brave, encouraging intelligent risk-taking, trying new things, having the ‘tough’ conversations.
  • Demonstrating thoughtful, open, honest and fair actions, treating people with respect, being considerate and honest with feedback, and positively encouraging my peers and the children.
  • Doing great work, seeking feedback for critical reflection, taking responsibility, and always doing my best to improve every day.

I have worked at Bush Babies Childcare & OOSH since March 2022, and I love every minute. It is a privilege?to have the opportunity to spend time with?all of the children, and I thoroughly enjoy being able to watch them develop and grow.?

I am a local to Warrimoo and have lived here all my life, and I attended Warrimoo public school throughout my primary school years.

In my?spare time, I enjoy bushwalking, bike riding, dancing and singing with my family and friends.?

I have chosen to study early childhood education and care as I am an extremely outgoing person, and I love to get to know new people and help them out and guide them in any way I can. Working with children gives me many opportunities to provide positive guidance and assist children in developing their skills and knowledge.

For those who aren’t yet familiar with me, this is a little bit about myself, and I look forward to making even more connections with you all!

 Thanks, Daniel.

I am studying to receive my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

As a child, I discovered I had a passion for teaching. I am the middle child in my family, so I’ve always learned and played along with my siblings, so I value learning through group play. I enjoy setting up activities that let children cooperate and know whichever way best suits them.

By undertaking my qualification, I can continue learning through my course and on-the-job experience, consistently improving my ability.

I am currently studying and completing my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. I would eventually like to complete my Diploma within the next few years if I have the opportunity to do so.

As the oldest cousin of 8, I have had quite a bit of experience with younger children as I always wanted to help and assist with the babies/children, this has then developed into? a passion and enjoyment when being surrounded by the kids, and I find it fascinating watching them learn and grow.

The thing I enjoy most about my job is forming a fantastic bond with the children I work with and watching them grow into lovely little people, as well as performing educational and engaging activities to increase brain growth/development and introducing vital skills and knowledge needed for their future in life and education.?
