I am Cheryl and I am the Director, I have been running Bush Babies for the last 25 years.
I have had children come through who I taught years ago, who now bring me their children to care for at Bush Babies.
The families and community really make me happy to still be caring for children at Bush Babies. You can find me mainly in the Office these days, however I do enjoy getting out to chat with Parents and play with the Children.
Hi I am Robyn.
I currently hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care. I have been at Bush Babies now for 11 years.
I am returning to work 3 days per week after having my baby boy, Ronnie. I will be helping out in the rooms from time to time, however I will mainly be in the office.
I enjoy watching the children grow & learn but especially love the cuddles that the children give me everyday.
My weekends consist of spending time with my Family, gardening (I love hot chili) and playing ball on Sunday afternoons. I also enjoy fishing, hiking and anything adventurous.
Thank you for bringing your children to Bush Babies for us to care for… We love to teach them, watching them learn and grow.
Early Childhood Teacher/ Educational Leader
Hi, I’m Esther Masters, and I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have nine siblings, yes nine ? and being number 5 has given me the opportunity to develop certain skills and has inspired me to fulfil my dream to become a teacher.
I was a licensed primary school teacher back in the Philippines, and I taught 6-12 age groups. I came to Australia in 2010 and completed Cert 3 and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care through TAFE. I also finished Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis from Western Sydney University in 2014. In 2016 I completed my Bachelor of Education Birth to Five Years through Charles Sturt University.
I have worked at Bush Babies since 2010, and it is safe to say that Bush Babies truly feels like my second home. I find this job very rewarding considering how much cuddles, and I love yous I get throughout the day from the children. Research shows that the first eight years of a child’s life are a critical period for development and I am honoured to be a part of a team that provides developmentally stimulating, meaningful learning experiences and a nurturing environment for your children.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, bush walking with my husband, Trev and of course being a Filipino; I love “karaoke” too even though I am not very good at it ?.
